North Central Stamping began humbly as Abbott Tool & Die, Inc. in 1987. It was a small local tool & die store-front in St. Louis, supported by only 3 employees. Don Narzinski, the current company President, was hired back in 1988 as a contract Tool & Die Maker/Tool Designer. Don eventually joined the company in 1991 and quickly moved up the ranks to become the General Manager. This lead the operation to accelerate its growth. The company then saw a need to add a metal stamping division. Not only to test run completed dies, but to have the ability to run full production for its customers.
Finally, In 1994, North Central Stamping, Inc. was born. Along with a new name and a new set of skills, the company moved to a 17,000 square foot building to accommodate them. The businesses quickly grew even further and operations moved to a 45,000 square feet building, now located in O’Fallon. This already-large empire has since expanded to 75,000 square feet, and remains the company’s current location. In 2013, the vision for Abbott Tool & Die, Inc. and North Central Stamping, Inc. came to be. They were officially the area’s premier shop, with capabilities to support any size customer. This vision holds true today as the company has expanded into several industries and has the confidence, knowledge, and capacity to handle a wide array of jobs.
Into the future, North Central is currently ISO 9001: 2015 certified and preparing to transition to meet requirements for IATF 16949: 2016. With the addition of Romer Absolute Arm for laser scanning, we now have the ability to reverse engineer parts and components, creating 3-D CAD files for future use. The sky is truly the limit here at North Central Stamping.
