North Central Stamping has a full service Quality Control Lab that is able to both perform robust inspections to ensure part conformity as well as any metrological services our customers may require.

Conventional Metrology

For most of our quality checks, only basic quality tools are required to ensure the parts are within specification. Our typical inspection equipment includes:

-Micrometers

-Calipers,

-Depth Gauges

-Height Gauges

-Gauge block and Gauge Pin Sets

Advanced Metrology

For some of our projects, conventional tools just won’t cut it. This is where our Zeiss O-Inspect CMM and ROMER Arm Laser scanner come in. With our laser scanner, we are able to “scan” a customer’s part, and then overlay it to the CAD model. We can then generate a “heat” map to ensure the entire part is within specification. Our CMM allows us to take accuracy to the next level, with the ability to accurately measure parts well past what conventional tools are able.
